توسعت دائرة التحقيقات في الهجوم الذي استهدف محيط السفارة الأمريكية في العاصمة النرويجية أوسلو، بعد أن أعلنت الشرطة توقيف امرأة في الخمسينات من عمرها، تبين أنها والدة 3 أشقاء مشتبه بتورطهم في زرع عبوة ناسفة قرب المبنى الدبلوماسي.
الاعتقال الجديد جاء بعد أيام من توقيف الإخوة الثلاثة، الذين يواجهون اتهامات بارتكاب جرائم إرهابية والتخطيط لقتل أشخاص والتسبب بأضرار مادية واسعة، وفق ما أكده الادعاء العام.

وكانت الشرطة قد كشفت في وقت سابق أن المشتبه بهم الثلاثة في العشرينات من العمر، ويحملون الجنسية النرويجية وينحدرون من أصول عراقية.
ووفق ما نقلته هيئة البث النرويجية NRK، فقد وُجهت إليهم تهم بموجب المادة 138 من قانون العقوبات النرويجي، وهي مادة تتعلق بتنفيذ أو التخطيط لهجمات باستخدام متفجرات لأغراض إرهابية.

The new arrest came days after the three brothers were detained, who face charges of committing terrorist crimes, planning to kill people, and causing extensive material damage, according to the public prosecution.
